I think that you should leave it in. The music evokes the different sounds of people sitting in their pods on the beach - lots of different toned voices in conversation, laughter, children’s shrieks - with a “parasol” of the formality of dress hanging over those sounds adding a veneer of gentility to a good time day at the beach!
Parasols are used quite a bit in Asia, and I agree they need to make a comeback here in the west. I hope you get your wish for the seersucker suit-worthy lake soiree, I much prefer the looks casual and have a good time vibe. Lol. I love the track!
