This is my favorite one so far, Peter! I love the light, funky groove for our elephant friend’s easy, swaying dance. The reduction is really nice, too.

Thank you so much! I was definitely inspired after seeing his titanic work in person.

The audacity and imagination it must take to make something as Gargantuan as that!?! So cool that you got to see it in person.

Dig it! I did not know about El Anatsui, awesome stuff all around.

I went down a deep rabbit hole with him after we saw the exhibit!

The entire presentation is a cool synthesis. When I first saw your reduction, I thought, wow, funky barcode!

Then I was intrigued by El Anatsui’s nexus of wood and mixed media. I would be pleased to see an exhibition myself!

And I tuned into “Elephant in the Room” half expecting a moog bass from an old Sesame Street 3 elephant “big bigger biggest” animation. I dig the sounds chopped up into a sonic expanse, reminding me of The Avalanches and some Go! Team Instrumentals.

I hear the curiosity of the elephant punctuated by casually exuberant trumpeting interspersed with jungle cats and birds paying due deference.

This is wonderful! I like the little slides in the bass.

And thanks for introducing us to cool art and paintings and such. I always enjoy learning about new (to me) artists while listening to your beats.

Thank you so much. Yeah, don’t know how it eventually turned into this. Originally I just wanted to write some beats!
