Yeah, this is spot on. Wonderful work — funky, fun, and FESTIVE. Dig the reduction. And great use of human voices throughout!

Thanx so much! As touristy as it is, there is still something funky about it cause it's NYC!

And sometimes Krampus takes them ice skating.

I'm sure I saw Krampus there that day.

I’m imagining lyrics sung by Krampus to go with the trombone melody line. I might try to write them today.

Something about me that I've not shared much on the internets is that, because of my mom, I am a hardcore Christmas fanatic, and specifically a Christmas music junkie. I have a Christmas playlist that's over 90 hours long and I love discovering new Christmas albums and music.

This track is a perfect piece of Christmas music! I love how funky it is and I love the sounds of people (children?) in the background throughout. The bells hit just right without being too much. And I think this reduction might be your best one yet!

Thanks for the Christmas joy today, Peter!

Yes sir, Christmas music is a big deal in our house! Denise has these three CDs samplers from of all places Pottery Barn that are packed with jazzy christmas music, and they are just the best. Usual tunes like Frank and Tony Bennett, but also Herbie Hancock and Marcus Roberts....all great. Hip Holidays or something like that.

Lots of bells make for a funky ride! And the seasonal ambience takes center stage well here! ¡Bravo!

Festive and foreboding at the same time-- I love it. Music to chill to as you sit on the ice and wonder “Where are all the Nice People???”

I was sitting on the ice a lot. Not sure what I was thinking... I was about 10 years old!!

I closed my eyes and was transported to NYC! The only difference being that I was outside in shorts and a t-shirt after a run which definitely would not be doable (not comfortably) in NYC right now I would imagine.

THAT would be pretty chilly right now.

Definitely hear a holiday beat - fortunately, more evocative of Joe Cool Snoopy on the ice than Krampus.

I was most assuredly not Joe Cool Snoopy on the ice.
