I would be without sleep as well 😏

I have serious problems sleeping in a different places because of noise

I wake up to the sound of the refrigerator motor running if the kitchen door is open for exemplo

but I use earplugs when I need to

helps

I would love to hear those ones here bigger , longer ? I would dance

Fantastic as usual! Sleep deprivation has its uses for tearing the veil a little and can serve as a good test. You're a pro, obviously. That trumpet! Bedside reading: To Kill a Mockingbird.

"One night, I simply could not handle it anymore, and there I was, hanging out of my bedroom window at 3 a.m. yelling at the bird to be quiet." Too funny! :D Only if it's not happening to you, been there, though. Cats. Cats in heat. Flocks of cats, droves... busses! What can I say, although, they drown out the bird noise...

Great tune, painting and post, again!

FYI, this happened to me at my old house. Went out at 1:30 AM three nights in a row, turned on the garden and hose, and fired water into the tree until the bird flew further down the street. It returned for two nights, but after the third night’s experience, it got the idea and stayed down the street. (Note: No animal cruelty as I didn’t train the hose on the bird itself but at the branches near where it sat.) while it might have threatened my sentiment about the greatest American novel - you know what it is - it didn’t.

Picturing this, of course.

And had I known about the hose trick, I may have never written this one!

Of course you are! I did wonder what a policeman doing a late night drive through the neighborhood would have thought of someone in PJs watering the upper branches of a neighbor’s tree at that early hour might have thought/done, but fortunately, it never came to that. Remind me sometime to tell you about the wee hours thunderstorm and the loose gutter.

A piteousness of doves? That’s real? Amazing. As if I couldn’t love doves even more. And I hear you about the Mockingbirds. All summer I had one nearby on a utility pole. I sleep with earbuds in and often play music while I sleep to drown them out. Earplugs are not strong enough.

Though one of my favorite songs of all time is named after the bastards.

I'm sorry for your lack of sleep, but it may have helped you capture a captivating sound. Loved the horns!

The birds have flown the coop, so it’s back to sleep for me.

Those colors! The beauty of constraint. My favorite painting so far-- luscious, indeed!

Love this painting! They are all great but I tend towards the ones that aren’t as well known. :)
