This was a little surprising to me. Loved the photo of Holyrood. When reading the article and seeing the photo, I expected the beat to be more dark and foreboding than it was. I think that aspect came in just at the very end. I preferred how you composed it, as I like that the Europeans don’t tear crumbling pieces of history down - I think that they have life, or at least their memories do, and the beat seemed to convey that. Challenging reduction, but it worked.
